Week 8: CREATING A CONTENT CALENDAR

In creating contents, we had to do an analysis of Act for Change Stakeholders. We needed to know how to communicate with the different stakeholders as well as build a good reputation with each group. We educated our client on the importance of doing stakeholders' analysis and its usefulness in creating contents which will generate engagement.

Stakeholders analysis is the process of identifying and categorizing the different stakeholders (primary and secondary) according to their level of interest and power that have on a business.

A stakeholder is "any group or individual who can affect or is affected by the achievement of the organisation's objectives: (Freeman, 1984). According to Bryson (2003), a stakeholder analysis is the right step to achieving an organisation's goals.

With this definition in mind, we identified the stakeholders of Act for Change as its employees, its volunteers, its community, customers or the victims of mental health trauma, the media, Investors and the Government.

 Yipee Journal,

Last week was tasking. We worked on the content calendar. My group had a lot of brainstorming sessions. We also worked on our first content creation for the World Sleep Day and the save the Date promotions. We also worked on the social media templates as well as some mother's day ideas. I fell ill because I didn't sleep for three days.

Swetha and Sooraj continued with the graphics because I had a splitting headache but I also proofread the contents before the slides were sent to Talia. Disappointingly, Talia only posted one out of the five slides that were sent to her.

We had our usual client meeting on Friday where we discussed the content calendar and other tasks. We had to reschedule our tasks because we got another brief from Talia. We agreed to prioritize tasks according to their urgency.

We agreed that we will no longer work under pressure to produce posts for special days. All posts concerning any special day should be done at least one week before the due date.

However, there was some good news....Act for Change Instagram followers are growing. In one month, there was an increase of 26.5%growth in Instagram followers.
